Communities

We treat each project, landowner and community with individual attention and are committed to collaborating openly and transparently with communities at each site.

Community collaboration

Telis Energy UK’s hybrid energy hubs will support net zero and energy security targets, while seeking to deliver thriving local biodiversity and economies. We treat each project, landowner and community with individual attention. We are committed to engaging with communities and landowners on each technology, at each site, as we bring them forward.

We will use best practice consultation approaches, going above and beyond statutory requirements, to ensure our projects are delivered collaboratively – and with benefits to be enjoyed by the local community.

That’s why each of our projects has a Community Relations team that works closely with the local community to maximise the positive social impacts our projects can have.

Considerate neighbours

Clean energy projects make for quiet neighbours. We know there can be some impact on your daily life during the short-term construction phase, and we’ll do our best to keep this to a minimum, working with you to identify priorities during this time. In the long term, there will be very little noise, and those parts of the project that do create noise will be located away from the edges of our sites.

Our projects will also be subject to business rates, which all go to your local authority. This means our projects can do more than create sustainable energy, and the business rates could help to improve local services.
